Artist Details
Printmaker and painter Józef Hecht was born in 1891 in Łódź, Poland. He attended the Académie Beaux-Arts in Kraków, Poland from 1909-14. His work can be found in several public collections, including at The British Museum, London, UK; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY; Museum of Tel-Aviv, Tel-Aviv, Israel; Hague Museum, The Hague, The Netherlands; and Musée des Ars Décoratifs, Paris, France. Hecht died in 1951 in Paris, France.
