Artist Details
Jean-René, known professionally as JR, was born in 1983 in Paris, France. JR has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions, including JR, Frieder Burda Museum, Baden-Baden, Germany (2014); JR au Louvre, Musée du Louvre, Paris, France (2016); and JR: Chronicles, Lotte Museum of Art, Seoul, South Korea (2023). He has also participated in many group exhibitions, including Street Art exhibition, Tate Modern, London, UK (2008) and Art in the streets, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, CA (2011).
