Jonathan Dayton (b. 1957, Alameda County, CA) and Valerie Faris (b. 1958, Los Angeles, CA) are a film and music video-directing duo. They have directed music videos for musicians such as Red Hot Chile Peppers and The Smashing Pumpkins, as well as movies including Little Miss Sunshine (2006) and Battle of the Sexes (2017).
