Artist Details
John Bradford was born in 1949. He received a BFA in Painting in 1971 from the Cooper Union in New York, NY and an MFA in Painting in 1978 from Yale University in New Haven, CT. Bradford has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions, including at Jersey City State College, Jersey City, NJ (1994); Union Theological Seminary, New York, NY (2003); and Claryville Art Center, Claryville, NY (2017). He has also participated in many group exhibitions, including Painterly Realism, American Federation of Arts, Smith College, Northampton, MA (1969); Akeida, National Jewish Museum, Washington, DC (1997); and Haunted Terrain, Hostetter Arts Center Gallery, Basking Ridge, NJ (2021). Bradford currently lives and works in New Jersey.
