Jesse Darling was born in 1981. He received his BA in 2010 from Central St. Martins College of Art and Design and his MFA in 2014 from University College London. Darling has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at Tate Gallery, London, UK (2018); Kunstverein, Freibourg, Germany (2020); an Camden Art Center, London, UK (2022). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including The Fifth Artist, Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridge, UK (2015); Transcorporealities, Museum Ludwig, Köln, Germany (2019); and Wild Frictions: The Politics and Poetics of Interruption, Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (2021). Darling currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
