Jan Dibbets was born in 1941 in Weert, The Netherlands. He has participated in many exhibitions, including Information, Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY (1970); Acquisition Priorities: Trends in Aspects of Post War Painting in Europe, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, NY (1983); Slide Show, Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (2005); and Go back to the future, Espace de l’Art Concret, Mouans-Sartoux, France (2022). Dibbets currently lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
