Hildur Bjarnadóttir received a BFA in 1992 from the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and an MFA in 1997 from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. In 2017 she completed a PhD in Fine Arts at Bergen Academy of Art and Design in Bergen, Norway. She has been featured in various exhibitions, including Subjective Systems, Kunstnerforbundet, Oslo, Norway (2015); Ecosystem of Color, Reykjavík Art Museum, Reykjavík, Iceland (2016); and Cohabitation, Trøndelag Center for Contemporary Art, Trondheim, Norway (2017). Bjarnadóttir lives and works between Reykjavík and Flóahreppur, Iceland.
