Photographer and videographer Henry Chalfant was born in 1940 in Sewickley, PA. He attended Stanford University in Stanford, CA. Chalfant's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including New York/New Wave, MoMA PS1, New York, NY (1981); Art of the American Century Part ll, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY (1999); Hip Hop, Museum of Pop Culture, Seattle, WA (2000); and Henry Chalfant: Art vs. Transit, 1977-1987, The Bronx Museum, New York, NY (2019).
