Artist Details
Painter, printmaker, and stained glass artist Heinrich Campendonk was born in 1889 in Krefeld, Germany. His work has been featured in exhibitions at Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY (1930-31); and Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf, Germany; Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL (both 1933). Campendonk died in 1957 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
