Gregory Green

Biography

Gregory Green received his BFA in 1981 from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and his MFA in 1984 from School of the Art institute of Chicago. He has been the subject of many solo exhibitions, including at the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (1981); Ella Sharpe Museum, Detroit, MI (1993); Stadsgalerij, Heerlen, The Netherlands (2005); and the John Erickson Museum of Art, Belfast, Ireland (2008). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Figure 82, Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (1982); The Nature of The Machine, The Chicago Cultural Center, Chicago, IL (1993); Broadcast, Contemporary Museum Baltimore, Baltimore, MD (2007); and 2050: A Brief History of the Future, Palazzo REALE Museum, Milan, Italy (2016). Green currently lives and works in Tampa, FL.
