Gregor Asch, known professionally as DJ Olive, was born in 1961 in New York, NY. He received a BFA in 1987 from the State University of New York in Purchase, NY. He has created many installation at various institutions, including at The Sculpture Center, New York, NY (2004); the Whitney Museum of Art, New York, NY (2008); Institute of Modern Art and the Valley Festival, Brisbane, Australia (2008); and The Chelsea Art Museum, New York, NY (2008).
