Painter George Bellows was born in 1882 in Columbus, OH. He studied from The Ohio State University Columbus, OH but moved to New York City in 1904, just before his graduation. Bellows' works can be found in the collections of many public institutions, including at the Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus, OH; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY; and The Phillips Collection, Washington, DC. Bellows died in 1925 in New York, NY.
