Artist Details
Gary Gaffney was born in New Orleans, LA. He received his BFA in Printmaking from University of New Orleans in 1974 and his MFA in Drawing in 1977 from University of Cincinnati. Gaffney has been the subject of many solo exhibitions, including at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, LA (1977); University of Dayton, Dayton, OH (1984); Warsaw Project Space, Cincinnati, OH (1999); and Thomas More College, Crestview Hills, KY (2014). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including Landscape '84, Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (1984); Earth, Mind and Spirit, Sun City Art Museum, Sun City, AZ (1994); Drawn to Art, Fitton Center for the Arts, Hamilton, OH (2000); and Angels, Carnegie Arts Center, Covington, KY (2014). Gaffney currently lives and works in Cincinnati, OH.
