Leonard Hilton McGurr, known professionally as Futura, is a graffiti artist who was born in 1955 in Veenendaal, The Netherlands. Futura has been the subject of many solo exhibitions, including Futura2000/Tarpestries, Eric Firestone Gallery, New York, NY (2022) and Futura: New Horizons, Urban Spree Galerie, Berlin, Germany (2016). He has also participated in various group exhibitions, including Treasures, Danysz Gallery, Paris, France (2019) and Beyond the Streets, Saatchi Gallery, London, UK (2023).
