Artist Details
Fred Conway was born in 1900 in St. Louis, MO. He attended the St. Louis School of Fine Arts, the Académie Julian, the Academies Moderne, and La Grande Chaumiere. His work was exhibited at the St. Louis Public Library (1926, 1927); St. Louis Art Museum, St. Louis, MO (1931, 1937, 1938, 1939); the Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh, PA (1941); and Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia, PA (1953 and 1962). Conway died in 1973 in St. Louis, MO.
