Photographer Eugène Atget was born in 1857 in Libourne, France. His work has been featured in several exhibitions, with recent shows at Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, Tokyo, Japan (2018); University of Michigan Museum of Art, Ann Arbor, MI (2018); The Taft Museum of Art, Cincinnati, OH (2019); Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris, France (2021); and The Getty Center, Los Angeles, CA (2023). Atget died in 1927 in Paris, France.
