Eileen Cooper was born in 1953 in Glossop, UK. In 1974 she graduated from Goldsmiths College and then from Royal College of Art in 1977, both located in London, UK. Cooper has been the subject of many solo exhibitions, including at Bridport Arts Centre, Dorset, UK (1998); Glasgow Print Studio, Glasgow, UK (2004); Royal Academy, London, UK (2010); and Leicester Museum and Art Gallery, Leicester, UK (2022).
