"born in Idaho, 1899. Studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to easel and mural painting, his works include sculpture, etching, ceramics and wood engravings. One of the most interesting phases of his work has been his collaboration with architects in remodeling and decoration. Mr. Miller has received many prizes and awards, among which are the Watson F. Blair prize at the Art Institute's water color show in 1934, and the Logan Medal at the Annual American Exhibit of Oils and Sculpture in 1944" (Modern Art in Advertising).
