Artist Details
Eddie Arning was born in 1898 in Germania, TX. He has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at Ricco/Maresca Gallery, New York, nY (1990-91, 2018) and Smith College Museum of Art, Northampton, MA. Arning has also participated in several group exhibitions, including Taking Center Stage: The Lanford Wilson Collection of Self-Taught Art, Bradley Gallery, Milwaukee, WI (2016) and We Are Made of Stories: Self-Taught Artists in the Robson Family Collections, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, DC (2022-23). Arning died in 1993 in McGregor, TX.
