Artist Details
Ed Andrews was born in Glocester, RI. He received a BFA in 1979 in Sculpture from Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, MO and an MFA in Sculpture in 1982 from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including Hoola Popper, N.A.M.E. Gallery, Chicago, IL (1988); Fear of Freedom of Fear, Dodge Gallery, Boston MA (1992); Invasive Species, Boston Sculptors Gallery, Boston, MA (2017); and Transplant, Boston Sculptors Gallery, Boston, MA (2021). Andrews has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including No Man’s Land, Socrates Sculpture Park, Long Island City, NY (1990); Double Take, Boston Center for the Arts, Boston, MA (1995); AOS Exhibition, North Scituate Library Gallery, Scituate, RI (2016); and BSG 30th Anniversary Exhibition, Group Exhibition, Boston Sculptors Gallery, Boston, MA (2022).
