Dumb Type is a collective of interdisciplinary artists founded in 1984 in Kyoto, Japan. Their performances and installations have been exhibited at numerous institutions, including OR, The Museum of Art, Kochi, Japan (1999); Voyage, Muffathalle, München, Germany (2005); and Actions + Reflections, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan (2020).
