Artist Details

Biography

Multidisciplinary artist Diana Cooper was born in 1964 in Greenwich, CT. She received her BA in 1986 from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA and her MFA in 1997 from Hunter College in New York, NY. Cooper has been the subject of many solo exhibitions, including at the Centre for Drawing, Wimbledon School of Art, London, UK (2003); Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland, OH (2007); Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Infusion Gallery, Brooklyn, NY (2013); and New York Studio School Gallery, New York, NY (2018). She has also participated in several group exhibitions, including The Benefit Show, The New Museum for Contemporary Art, New York, NY (1998); Sprawl, Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (2002); Silhouettes – Pure Contours, Museum Bellerive, Zurich, Switzerland (2010); and New York, Just like I pictured it, Platform Project Space, Brooklyn, NY (2019). Cooper currently lives and works in New York, NY.
