David Bunn received his MFA in 1984 from University of California in Los Angeles, CA. He has been the subject of many solo exhibitions, including at Newport Harbor Art Museum, Newport Beach, CA (1991); Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (2001); Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA (2004); and Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn, New York, NY (2007). Bunn has also participated in multiple group exhibitions, including Text, Texture, Touch, Center for Curatorial Studies Museum, Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY (2002); Inscribing the Temporal, Kunsthalle Exnergasse, Vienna, Austria (2003); and Notation, Akademie der Künste, Berlin, Germany (2008). Bunn currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
