David Bernard was born in 1913 in Kansas. Bernard received an MFA in 1949 from University of Iowa in Johnson County, IA. Bernard has works in many public collections, including at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY; Library of Congress, Washington, DC; and St. Cloud City Building, St. Cloud, MN. Bernard died in 2002.
