Daniel Arsham was born in 1980 in Cleveland, OH. He received a BFA from The Cooper Union in 2003. Arsham has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions, including yeSpace, The Miami Performing Arts Center, Miami, FL (2007); Reach Ruin, The Fabric Workshop Museum, Philadelphia, PA (2012); Connecting Time, MOCO Museum, Amsterdam, The Netherlands (2019); and Arsham Auto Motive, Petersen Automotive Museum, Los Angeles, CA (2023). He has also participated in many group exhibitions, including In Situ, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Miami, FL (2004); Héritage, Centre d'art contemporain départemental l'arTsenal, Freux, France (2018); and To the Hoop: Basketball and Contemporary Art, Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro, NC (2020). Arsham currently lives and works in New York, NY.
