Interdisciplinary artist, writer, and curator Coco Fusco was born in 1960 in New York, NY. She received a BA in 1982 from Brown University, an MA in 1985 from Stanford University, and a PhD in 2007 from Middlesex University. Fusco's work can be found in many public collections, including Centre Pompidou, Paris, France; Imperial War Museum, London, UK; Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain; The Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY; and Smithsonian Art Museum, Washington, DC. Fusco currently lives and works in New York.
