Carolina Caycedo was born in 1978 in London, UK. She received her BFA from Los Andes University in Bogotá, Colombia and her MFA from University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. Caycedo has been the subject of many solo exhibitions and projects, including at Hordaland Kunstsenter. Bergen, Norway (2012); Orange County Museum of Art, Santa Ana, CA (2019); Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, MA (2020); and Institute for Arts and Sciences, Santa Cruz, CA (2023).
