Bubi Canal | Contemporary Arts Center

Bubi Canal was born in 1980 in Santander, Spain. He received his BFA in 2005 from University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain. Canal has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at Digitaliseum, Malmö, Sweden (2016) and Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati, OH (2019). He has also participated in many group exhibitions, including Cuestión Xeneracional, Galicia Contemporary Art Center, Santiago, Spain (2007); Rencontres Internationales, Centre Pompidou, Paris, France (2011); Still Searching, The Benaki Museum, Athens, Greece (2017); and New Horizons, Digitaliseum, Malmö, Sweden (2020). Canal currently lives and works in New York, NY.
