Artist Details
Betsy Damon was born in 1940. She received her BA in1963 from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY and her MFA in 1966 from Columbia University in New York, NY. Damon has participated in numerous exhibitions, including In Memory, The Women's Building, Los Angeles, CA (1975); The Wild Art Show, MoMA PS1, New York, NY (1982); Expanding Environments, Brunnier Art Museum, Ames, IA (1998); Keepers of the Water: Chengdu and Lhasa, Asia Art Archive in America, New York, NY (2018); and Art and Ecology, Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY (2021).
