Painter, printmaker, sculptor, and photographer Audrey Flack was born in 1931 in New York, NY. She received her BFA in 1952 from Yale University in New Haven, CT. She has been the subject of several solo exhibitions, including at the Parrish Art Museum, Southampton, NY (1991); Guild Hall Museum, East Hampton, NY (1996); and LewAllen Contemporary, Santa Fe, NM (2008). She has also participated in various group exhibitions, including American Drawings 1963-1973, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY (1973); Seven Photorealists From New York Collections, The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, NY (1981); and Picturing America: Fotorealismus der 70er Jahre, Deutsche Guggenheim, Berlin, Germany (2009). Flack currently lives and works in East Hampton and New York City, NY.
