Amanda Curreri was born in 1972 in Boston, MA. received a BFA in 2000 from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA and an MFA in 2007 from California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA. She has been the subject of various solo exhibitions, including at Rochester Art Center, Rochester, MN (2018); Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati, OH (2019); and Facebook Open Arts, Sunnyvale, CA. She has also participated in many group exhibitions, including Shadowshop, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco, CA (2010); Under the Blankets, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Pittsburgh, PA (2018); Archive as Action, Contemporary Art Center, Cincinnati, OH (2019); and Queer Threads, Museum of Quilts and Textiles, San Jose, CA (2023). Curreri currently lives and works in Albuquerque, NM.
