" . . . the recipient of an MFA from Claremont Graduate School, Jones served on the faculty of the University of Southeastern Louisiana before joining the department at Antioch. Primarily a painter, although his graphics have also been widely shown, he works on unstretched canvas with air brished acrylics. Part of his aesthetic is utilizing the play of light on his supple forms" (CAC Exhibition Brochure October, 1972).
