Cubist artist Albert Gleizes was born in 1881 in Paris, France. His work can be found in many public collections, including at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York City, NY; Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig, Vienna, Austria; National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia; Tate Gallery, London, UK; and National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo, Japan. Gleizes died in 1953 in Avignon, France.
