Beginning on August 18, 2020, the CAC will be hosting a two-week ONLINE art auction and fundraiser Art Where You Are. The proceeds will benefit accessible, internet-based art education for all ages, as well as the social justice and human rights issues of today through a limited-edition, CAC commissioned 2020 poster set created by ten artists, the majority of whom are Black, Indigeneous and People of Color (BIPOC).
Though the auction will be online, we will offer opportunities for in-person viewing on August 26th and 27th for the public, and by invitation only on August 27th and 28th.
2020 is unlike any other year on record. In order to capture the moment, the CAC has commissioned 10 renowned artists /artist collaborations to create special, limited-edition poster designs that represent the year from their point(s) of view.
Tune in to this year’s auction on Artsy.net to secure your poster or box set and have your very own visual representation of this moment in human history. A portion of proceeds from poster sales will go to support the Cincinnati Artist Relief Assistance Fund (CARAF), and local social justice organizations.
We’re committed to leading the change for just and fair representation, equality, equity and inclusion for artists and patrons of all backgrounds.
