For Families

Families are encouraged to visit, play in and learn at the UnMuseum anytime during the Contemporary Arts Center’s regular hours.  Although from time to time we might host exhibitions that contain some mature content, the UnMuseum is a consistent, family-friendly space that is always open and suitable for all audiences at all times.

The CAC also hosts a number of regularly scheduled family programs at the UnMuseum run by guest artists and arts educators.  Please consult the Calendar for specific topics and details.  All family programs are free with CAC admission or with membership, unless otherwise noted. For more information, call 513 345 8430 or email “General Family Program Email”

Family Festivals

Drop in and join the fun! Guest artists and educators teach hands-on art projects that can be taken home or displayed in the UnMuseum.  Projects use materials and processes that artists of all ages can enjoy. This is an open-house style program, so drop in any time during the offering.
Family Festivals are on the 4th Saturday of the month, from 1 to 4pm.

Thursday Art Play

A great way to schedule creative play time with your little ones. This program uses storytelling, performance and hands-on art making activities to excite and educate our youngest visitors. It is designed especially for children ages 3 to 5 years old, and their parents and caregivers.

Thursday Art Play is offered every Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30am.

Family programming is not scheduled during Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks.
