Founded in 1939 by three visionary women, Peggy Frank Crawford, Betty Pollack, and Rita Rentschler, the Modern Art Society is the original name and identity of the Contemporary Arts Center.
The Center is proud to honor the name Modern Art Society, in recognition of the many thoughtful individuals who have included the Center in their estate plans.
