The late Zaha Hadid's Contemporary Arts Center launched her a dazzling career that ended suddenly March 31.
On Saturday, the six-level home of the CAC will host an afternoon honoring the groundbreaking architect. The program features speakers who knew Hadid or collaborated with her on the Downtown design and other projects.
Representatives from the CAC, American Institute of Architects (AIA) Equity in Architecture and University of Cincinnati’s Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning college (DAAP) are scheduled to appear at the free event.
Hadid, acclaimed for her modernist, futurist buildings, died of a heart attack in a Miami hospital at the end of March. She was 65.
