(Enquirer) Making memory: New CAC show challenges history

"The Vesper Project is not a cold monument to memory. It is a living, breathing account. Artist Titus Kaphar simultaneously created clusters of memories and allowed them to create new meaning in that process, said Contemporary Arts Center curator Steven Matijcio. Matijcio’s own powerful memory of The Vesper Project, an engrossing, expansive installation, inspired him to bring the artist’s work to the CAC May 15."
