CAC Docents perform a valuable service to the community by introducing area children and/or adults to the art of today. Join the dynamic team of CAC volunteers and give student tours of the UnMuseum, the CAC and its exhibitions. Docents learn about contemporary art, make new friends and enjoy the benefits of being involved in the life of the Center.

Docent training begins in February with the six-week course Milestones: An Introduction to Contemporary and continues with Art as a Second Language, the eight-week docent training course about how to lead tours. Docents graduate and begin giving tours in May. Once training is complete, docents lead two tours a month and have orientations for each new exhibition.
