“Mr. and Mrs. Vladimir Golschmann are not strangers to Cincinnati. We have been fortunate in hearing Mr. Golschmann conduct the Cincinnati Symphony Orchesta at the opening concerts of the present season. Their collection of 20th century paintings, many of which have not been shown previously here or elsewhere, is an interesting and unusual choice, showing the personal taste of discriminating individuals. The collection, started about ten years ago, has not remained static but is constantly changing and developing. The paintings and drawings will be on view in Cincinnati while Mr. and Mrs. Golschmann are on a conducting tour in Europe” (Private collection catalog).
