** Premiere Cincinnati Screening **

In their debut feature, visual artists-turned-directors Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard create a bold vision of one of music’s most mysterious and charismatic figures, the iconic Nick Cave. Drama and documentary are fused through the weaving of a cinematically staged day in Cave's life with never-before-seen verité observation of his full creative cycle. Avowedly neither a music documentary nor a concert film, this film still contains electrifying performances from both Cave and those who have affected his life, both personally and professionally. A haunting and category-defying cinematic experience, 20,000 Days on Earth possesses the same frankness and wry humor that runs through all of Cave's work, and pushes the form into new territory, exploring universal themes and celebrating the transformative power of the creative spirit.

Following this premiere Cincinnati screening, 20,000 Days on Earth will open on Friday, October 17 at the Esquire Theatre for a theatrical run.
